The shoot started in Rome. So it's quite hard if you're going to start on a foreign shoot and so on, and with a particular budget. I mean, it was generous at the time, but it was also a big, epic thing. So there was then the practicalities of we'd got this location but we don't have that. Does this look right for this? All of that kind of thing. Then scripts have to start changing for practical reasons. We can't really get an interior here but could we set this one as an exterior and maybe then go into it?"
