Annotation 1: A hand-written note in all capitals at the bottom of the page adding an interaction between Bulstrode and Raffles at the end of the scene. It reads: 'AS WE HAVE LOST THE COACH COULD WE HAVE HIM WALKING AWAY, BULSTRODE WATCHING, RAFFLES TURNING TO WAVE, BULSTRODE THINKING DARK THOUGHTS.'
Annotation 2: to the right of this note, and underneath the type-written footnote of '[No. Sc.4/57-59: therefore no pages 4/94-97]', a short line leads from the end of the note in Annotation 1 to the beginning of this one: 'Shoot it when you do 4/55? It would add a lot I think.'
